** Please keep your email questions short and to the point (under ½ page). You need to ask specific questions, rather than broad strategy or structure related questions. For example, questions such as “Should I set up a Trust for this?” or “What kind of property should I buy?” are impossible to answer by email because Ross needs to fully investigate your situation and circumstances to ensure he is giving you the correct advice.
Examples of the types of questions Ross can answer by email are:
• I am looking at this property. (Provide details of purchase price, rental income, etc). What do you think?
• Is this expense deductible?
• Should I go interest only or principal and interest?
• Should I fix for 5 years?

***This is a good opportunity for you to go over your strategy/structure questions as Ross will answer any questions you have within the 30 minute time frame.

The following areas of advice are specifically excluded from this offer (as this type of advice requires considerably more time and expertise)
and will need to be charged for separately based on time taken:

  • Possible GST registration for Airbnb and short term accommodation, and ways to legally avoid GST registration.
  • Restructures – i.e. personal home becoming a rental.
  • More complicated structure questions where formation of a new structure is required (Questions on existing structure are fine).
